Photo Tour

The Pre-school cabin is arranged into different areas, but so that all areas are interconnected to allow for free-flow play. We have a role-play, dressing up and home corner area, the cushion corner where we have stories and songs, reading and mark-making areas, plus a craft/art area with easel.  As well as this, we have areas where activities are continually changed. Items are available for the children to access freely from low trays and baskets so they can choose their own learning materials and activities.

The pre-school has a large outdoor space that is accessible from the play room at all times. It consists of a timber decked verandah, which has blocks and a sand table permanently available, which then leads onto a lawned area with raised beds where we grow our own vegetables for cooking. We have an semi-wild nature corner in the garden, a wooden play house, and a large sandpit with permanent shade canopy. We also have the benefit of a paved level area for the children to ride trikes and scooters.

We have purpose built toilet and changing facilities, allowing the children freedom and privacy to access these when needed, and gain independence while always having the support and supervision of staff. There is a fully equipped kitchen (that is integrated into the playroom allowing staff to have full visibility of the children at all times) which enables the provision of regular cooking activities
